Role Overview
Provide medical and technical support for the electrophysiology product portfolio, with a focus on 3D mapping, catheters, sheaths, etc., for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias.
Conduct product trainings in hospitals and provide advice, guidance, and on-site support regarding indications, patient selection, and product choice during procedures.
Responsible for increasing the utilization of Abbott products during procedures.
Present new Abbott products and demonstrate their potential clinical applications.
Initiate customer trainings and educational programs to promote optimal use of the EnSite system at customer sites or in designated training centers, in coordination with the Training department.
Initiate studies together with customers in coordination with the Studies/Clinical department.
Perform system troubleshooting, with support from technicians or internal specialists as required, taking hospital-specific processes into account.
Support marketing campaigns and product evaluations as directed by the Marketing department.
Requirements
Vocational training or qualification in a scientific, medical or technical field; a university degree is not required.
General medical-technical and clinical knowledge is advantageous; ideally some initial experience in cardiology (not mandatory).
Good command of English and excellent command of German.
Good IT skills.
Strong communication skills, self-motivation, the ability to work independently and strong organizational skills, as well as a high degree of empathy.
A balanced demeanor and the ability to work as part of a team, plus unrestricted mobility including short-notice travel.
