Reviews new, revised, and pending sanctions notices, determines their applicability to GEICO, and recommends changes needed to support compliance.
Evaluates processes, procedures, systems, and communications to identify compliance gaps and recommends enhancements to strengthen sanctions controls.
Presents investigative findings, risk insights, and recommendations to management.
Implements and monitors changes to processes, procedures, sanctions screening systems, and communications, and re-evaluates outcomes to confirm risks have been mitigated.
Advises on the sanctions compliance implications of proposed processes, procedures, and business activities.
Supports communications and interactions with OFAC and other regulatory stakeholders, as needed.
Researches federal laws and regulatory developments to identify relevant compliance issues and communicates key impacts to senior leadership.
Prepares and delivers executive-level sanctions briefings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Ability to work effectively under tight timelines.
Ability to work across the compliance organization and collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the company.
