Assist Assigned Certifiers and Technical Advisors within the Building Compliance Team in carrying out inspections on sites as required
Photographic and written condition reporting
Carry out site inspections ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations 1997 as amended
Carrying out inspections against design drawings, details, specifications and approved technical submittals
Generating reports and reviewing with Project Leads
Planning and coordinating various inspections across multiple sites nationwide
Keeping a tracker up to date to show availability
Storing reports and photographic recording on cloud-based system
Briefing contractors of non-conformances or issues identified as part of inspection prior to leaving sites
Maintaining and building relationships with Project Teams
Monitoring quality assurance and quality control on sites
Additional work may include Clerk of Works Duties, site attendance and liaising with Building Control as required, coaching and mentoring staff

Knowledge and understanding of Building Control Act
Knowledge and understanding of Building Control Regulations
Knowledge and understanding of Building Standards and Codes of Practice
Ensure continuous professional development is undertaken to stay up to date with changes in the industry
Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety requirements
5+ years’ experience in a similar role, onsite or within a consultancy
