Role Overview
Guidehouse is currently seeking operations consulting professionals in support of Department of Defense (DoD) clients.
Support consulting projects for major DoD weapon systems, overseeing all phases of the program lifecycle, including acquisition, sustainment, and modernization activities.
Act as the primary liaison for government stakeholders, delivering clear guidance and regular status updates to ensure alignment and informed decision making.
Support cross-functional teams to achieve program goals.
Identify, assess, and implement process improvements to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
Support day-to-day project team activities to gain customer buy-in towards a common operating picture, solution architecture, and roadmap for execution.
Assist federal clients to optimize the operations of their finance organization, including supporting the audit readiness, accounting, logistics and property management.
Support audit remediation activities, such as developing/updating process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and developing/implementing corrective action plans to address findings.
Requirements
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's Degree
ONE (1) or more years of experience with DoD organizations and/or Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry or similar commercial domain
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance (what would be nice to have)
Bachelors or Advanced degree in business, engineering, or related field (what would be nice to have)
TWO (2) or more years of experience in DoD or A&D production, acquisition, audit activities, property accountability, engineering and/or supply chain management (what would be nice to have)
Experience supporting complex programs, ideally in DoD or A&D industry (what would be nice to have)
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Experience leading small client-facing teams through the lifecycle of a consulting engagement (what would be nice to have)
Experience developing written communication materials for senior level clients (what would be nice to have)
Ability to excel in a dynamic organization, adapting and responding quickly to new information and/or evolving requirements (what would be nice to have)
Proficiency with one or more: AI Chatbots, Machine Learning, Model Evaluation, LLM Integration (what would be nice to have)
Experience serving or working for Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps (what would be nice to have)
Experience working for or with Lockheed Martin or Pratt & Whitney (what would be nice to have)
