Assisting in Monthly preparation of sales invoices (and ad-hoc, as per business needs) and reconciliation with invoicing schedule.
Daily review of received payments from customers and updating internal reports of overdue invoices.
Daily upload of financial documents to external agencies (AR, Expense reports, Bank statements).
Review of financial transactions in the accounting system (AP, AR, Payroll posting, Expense reports, Bank statements).
Communication with external agencies regarding financial documentation, data entries and other.
Preparation of AP and AR financial reports weekly.
Perform account reconciliations for bank statements on a weekly basis.
Perform weekly payments (and ad-hoc, as per business needs) in Halcom and other platforms (UK and US market).
Sending documents to the bank for payments in foreign currencies to non-residents in Serbia.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes (Prepayments, Accruals and Review of GLs and Cost centers).
Opening new fixed assets in the accounting system and sharing information with agencies and internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Assisting with VAT and other tax obligations.
Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, as needed.

2+ years of previous accounting or finance experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance tools
Knowledge of accounting software (D365 Business Central / Navision, preferable) is nice to have
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
