Adult Emergency Department RN – PRN Day Shift

Role Overview

• Provides professional nursing care to patients
• Conducting nursing assessments
• Assisting with exams and treatment
• Patient education
• Maintenance of medical records
• Coordinates treatment plans and discharge/transfer plans
• Participates in evaluation of programs and process improvement

Requirements

• One year of recent Hospital ED experience required in the last 3 years
• Minimum of two years of recent RN experience required
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred
• Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing
