Project Manager, Medicaid – Contract

Role Overview

• Gather and document business requirements.
• Develop project plans and execute projects through completion.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting.
• Create and maintain project documentation and management artifacts.
• Coordinate with business users, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
• Facilitate communication between internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage multiple high-profile projects concurrently.
• Support portfolio and program management activities as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Strong background managing projects within a Healthcare Insurance IT environment
• Experience with project planning, resource allocation, and effort estimation
• Experience with SharePoint, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and related project management tools
• Experience managing project risks, issues, and mitigation strategies
• Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
