You are one of the first points of contact for our prospects and take ownership of the sales lead and communication – during on-site meetings, by phone and by e-mail.
In doing so, you identify the needs of prospects and make a significant contribution to acquiring new customers.
You research potential prospects and customers in collaboration with our pre-sales team.
You document presentations, calls and visits in our CRM software.
You schedule and coordinate appointments for the sales team (reference customer visits, workshops, presentations, etc.).
You represent the company at trade shows, roundtables, networking events, etc.
You manage the entire sales cycle from lead handover to contract signing.
Requirements
Commercial training or equivalent qualifications
Good knowledge of current IT technologies and software products, especially ERP and CRM
You have experience with and are comfortable initiating first contact with potential customers
Strong communication skills
Willingness to travel and enjoyment of field sales
Enthusiasm, assertiveness and sociability are your strengths
A customer-service mindset is your top priority
Hands-on mentality and strong customer orientation
Ability to work independently while actively contributing to team efforts
Knowledge of the IT sector as well as the agriculture and food industries is an advantage
