Develop a strategic and operational business plan for the department under the general guidelines provided by the Managing Director.
Promote sales and marketing activity to the target market.
Seek new market opportunities for the division.
Cross-sell bank products and services by identifying transaction opportunities, marketing each product to identified clients, negotiating the terms and conditions, and executing and documenting the transactions.
Negotiate terms, structure loan financing based on risk considerations, and present credits for approval to appropriate levels of authority.
Support the Bank's culture through ongoing customer contact, quality customer service, and superior product knowledge.
Prepare lending proposals and pitches to prospective clients.
Requirements
3+ years experience in U.S. banking and international markets
Excellent interpersonal skills including business writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Knowledge of domestic and foreign financial markets and products, including nonbanking financial institutions
Fluency in both English and Japanese
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience, Master's in Business or CFA preferred
