The Analyst, Business Operations (FCO) is based in LATAM and owns the day-to-day operational flows that enable efficient, high-quality client onboarding
Own and drive end-to-end onboarding operational flows, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to reduce onboarding cycle times
Track case progress across the pipeline and proactively follow up to keep cases moving without unnecessary delays
Collaborate with Growth, Finance Ops, and Product teams to streamline handoffs and eliminate process inefficiencies
Document and systematise all onboarding operational processes into clear, repeatable SOPs, built from the ground up to be automation-ready
Identify which parts of the onboarding workflow are candidates for agentic automation (e.g., document completeness checks, RFI generation, escalation routing)
Drive the transition from manual execution to AI-assisted workflows over time, acting as the operational domain expert who defines what the agent should do and validates its outputs
Prepare and submit Partner Information Forms (PIFs) and supporting documentation required by card schemes for partner onboarding and certification processes
Coordinate third-party reviews required by card schemes and other network partners, managing timelines, documentation packages, and follow-ups to ensure submissions are complete and on schedule
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in business operations, KYC document processing, customer onboarding, or a similar operational role
Hands-on experience with structured checklists, data collection workflows, or document review processes
Demonstrable experience building with AI, whether through automation tools, agentic workflows, prompt-based solutions, or AI-assisted process design; we're looking for someone who has actually built things with AI, not just used it
Background in fintech, financial services, or regulated industries is a plus, but not required
Strong attention to detail with a process-first mindset
Comfortable managing case queues, tracking document status, and following defined escalation protocols
Proven ability to identify operational bottlenecks and drive measurable improvements in turnaround times
Able to identify gaps or inconsistencies in documentation without needing to make risk-based compliance judgements
Approaches manual processes as problems to be solved, not tasks to be repeated
Able to think in workflows: identify inputs, outputs, decision points, and exception paths that can be translated into automated logic
Comfortable working with Product and Tech teams to scope and test automation tools
Clear communicator, able to draft professional RFIs and coordinate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners
Comfortable creating productive friction with adjacent teams (Compliance, Growth) in service of better outcomes and faster processes
Based in or able to operate fully aligned with Mexico time zone and public holidays
Willing to work during local public holidays if required (compensatory leave will be provided)
Fluent in business English and Portuguese (spoken and written)
Proficiency in any additional language (e.g., Spanish) is a strong advantage
