Responsible for the assessment of allegations of impairment of fitness to practise matters, in the most serious and complex cases
Initial assessment and advising on risk, evidence and the need for an interim order
Initial case progression on high-profile, complex, multi-registrant matters and, on occasion, carrying out a full investigation
Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders, both internal and external
Support the lawyers in the team and work collaboratively with other departments
Requirements
Comfortable managing competing priorities
Able to adapt quickly
Confident handling fast‑moving cases that require precision, sound judgement, and clear justification for decisions
Effective communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders, including legal colleagues, internal teams, and external partners
Ability to explain complex issues clearly, manage expectations, and build productive working relationships across the organisation
Collaborative approach is essential
