Director of Business Development – Hospice

Role Overview

• Lead and support a team of Hospice Account Executives and business development professionals
• Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to drive growth and exceed goals
• Build strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, and other referral sources
• Identify new market opportunities and growth initiatives
• Maintain a personal sales portfolio while providing leadership and mentorship to the team
• Conduct field rides, coaching sessions, and team development activities
• Collaborate with operational and clinical leaders to ensure exceptional service and outcomes
• Utilize market data and CRM tools to drive performance and strategic decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Proven success in healthcare sales leadership, preferably in hospice or post-acute care
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
• Experience leading and motivating high-performing teams
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
