Radiological Control First Line Manager

Role Overview

• Assists the Facility Manager in directing and integrating the Facility's Radiation Protection Program.
• Implements program improvements relative to employee performance.
• Ensures facility operations personnel are following the requirements of the Site's Radiological Controls (5Q) Manual.
• Advises other departments on self-monitoring and protective measures.
• Provides guidance, analysis, and audits of the radiation protection program for the facility.
• Communicates deficiencies noted in facility operations to upper RCO Management.
• Supervises and directs Radiological Control (RC) Inspectors to support current facility work priorities and schedules.
• Coordinates manpower requirements and allocations.
• Provides leadership to promote a Safety and Total Quality Culture for the facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and applicable experience in a senior level or management role in radiological control.
• Experience in SRS Liquid Waste facilities.
