About this role
Role Overview
Administer and maintain core compensation programs, including merit increases, incentive plans, market adjustments, living wage initiatives, and union-related compensation programs.
Ensure programs are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company guidelines.
Support annual compensation review cycles and related processes.
Partner with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on compensation-related matters.
Evaluate compensation requests using market data, internal guidelines, and established compensation practices.
Recommend solutions for routine compensation issues and support implementation of approved actions.
Conduct market pricing, pay equity, workforce, and compensation analyses.
Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations to support compensation decisions.
Identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and compensation accrual processes.
Validate and reconcile compensation and workforce cost data across systems.
Assist with workforce cost reporting and financial planning activities.
Support the rollout of new compensation programs and enhancements.
Document processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.
Ensure compensation processes remain compliant and well-documented.
Contribute to team documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.
Support colleagues by providing expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
4+ years of compensation analysis experience.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of compensation principles, salary structures, incentive programs, and market pricing practices.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
Experience partnering with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis tools.
Experience using compensation management tools such as MarketPay, CompAnalyst, BetterComp, or similar platforms.
Preferred Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification or progress toward certification.
Experience creating executive-level presentations in PowerPoint.
Familiarity with Workday Compensation or other HRIS compensation modules.
