Physical Therapist II, III

Role Overview

• Responsible for planning, evaluating and implementing physical therapy treatment programs.
• Plans, conducts, and evaluates physical therapy treatment/intervention programs and activities.
• Completes patient assessments related to various physical skills and functional abilities.
• Provides treatment/intervention according to the prescribed plan.
• Participates in multidisciplinary team to assist in developing intervention strategies.

Requirements

• Current Oklahoma license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision plus one year of professional experience for Level II.
• Advanced level master's degree or doctorate in pediatric rehabilitative services, pediatric occupational therapy, special education, or a closely related field may be substituted for the required experience for Level II.
• Current Oklahoma License and three years of professional experience as a licensed Physical Therapist for Level III.
• Advanced level master’s degree or doctorate may be substituted for two years of the required experience for Level III.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices, and ethics of professional physical therapy.
• Ability to evaluate individual skills and abilities and develop treatment plans.
