About this role
Role Overview
Achieving company sales and profitability targets in assigned sales territory
Developing and maintaining consultative relationships with customers and prospects
Responsible for expanding market share and developing sales strategies
Quickly establishing strong relationships with all existing customers
Selling Westlake Royal Building Products’ concrete and clay roofing products
Working with architects and designers to ensure products are specified
Driving product performance to achieve market share and sales growth
Establishing and maintaining positive customer relations by meeting and consulting with customers
Building rapport with key decision makers within customers’ organizations
Participating in local building and roofing associated trade shows
Providing technical advice to current and potential customers
Submitting all written and electronically transmitted sales reports and forecasts
Complying with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Bilingual a plus (Spanish)
Direct sales experience preferred; building product sales experience preferred
Excellent negotiating skills
Strong relationship building skills
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously, detail oriented
An enthusiastic, self-starter with good interpersonal skills
Requires the consultative mind-set, solution-oriented method of selling
Working knowledge of MS office suite including teams and outlook 365
Experience with Salesforce, SAP or other deal desk systems
Insurability and valid US state driver’s license is mandatory.
