Work closely with our PeopleOps team on onboarding and offboarding to ensure a smooth experience for every joiner and leaver: tool access, checklists, onboarding plans and introduction meetings.
Own our employment documents: contracts, extensions, freelance agreements, and employer statements. You make sure they're always accurate and on time.
Support our team by being the first point of contact for day-to-day employee questions about payslips, expenses, learning & development requests, time off, and anything in between.
Support payroll admin: collect mutations, pension administration, and keep everything tidy.
Handle short-term sick leave: record absences and flag concerns to the right people.
Support with team events and Learning & Development initiatives: from Lunch & Learns, AI sessions to Lab-days and Expedition Days.
Ensure a connected, friendly environment where we truly live our value "We are human".
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in a fast-growing scale-up in a People or Operations role: through an internship, a first job, or a mix of both.
Exceptionally organized and reliable: when you own a process, it gets done thoroughly and on time.
Empathetic and discreet: you understand that people come to you with real questions and handle them with care.
A friendly and proactive mindset: you find real satisfaction in making things easier for the people around you.
Solution-oriented: ad hoc situations and shifting priorities don't throw you off, and you are comfortable doing important work that isn't always in the spotlight.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Knowledge of the Dutch language and Dutch Labour Law is a nice-to-have.
