Requirements
Deep hands-on experience configuring AI agents/assistants to perform complex multi-step tasks
any platform (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, custom agents, etc.)
Clear mental model of agent architecture: when to use persistent instructions vs. on-demand context vs. tool integrations vs. multi-agent patterns
Ability to evaluate what's a real standard vs. what's vendor lock-in
you build for portability
Bias toward shipping. You get things working, then refine.
Comfortable teaching and enabling other engineers who are newer to AI tooling
Enough software engineering foundation to understand the systems you're automating against (you don't need to be a Java expert, but you need to read code and understand test coverage)
Experience with test automation frameworks (REST Assured, Karate, Selenium, etc.)
