Structure and governance of the operational KPI tree for robotics systems: throughput, units per hour (UPH), OEE, order fulfillment rate, accuracy, cost per line/order, robot utilization, average cycle time, waiting time;
Lead the management routine with operations, maintenance and suppliers, ensuring adherence to targets and structured handling of deviations;
Design and lead continuous improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen) focused on productivity gains, variability reduction and optimization;
Build and maintain analytical dashboards connected to WMS/WCS/WES sources, with executive, tactical and operational layers;
Apply advanced analytics: statistical analysis, process mining, flow simulation (e.g., AnyLogic, FlexSim), digital twin, capacity modeling and what-if scenarios;
Develop business cases and feasibility studies for new automation and robotics technologies (ROI, payback, TCO, sensitivity analysis);
Conduct internal and external benchmarking (site visits, participation in forums, papers, conferences) to map best practices and trends;
Interface with technology suppliers to evolve control algorithms, parameterization and operational fine-tuning;
Support capacity planning and sizing for peaks, seasonality and new SKUs;
Lead change management with operations during implementations and process changes.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production/Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Civil, Computer) or related fields with a strong quantitative background;
Solid experience (desired minimum: 7–10 years) in operational performance, industrial engineering or operational excellence, preferably in automated logistics environments;
Mastery of structured methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, Kaizen, A3 thinking;
Strong data-driven profile: SQL required; Python or R desirable; experience with Power BI;
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders (operations, IT, maintenance, suppliers, planning);
Advanced English is a plus;
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification highly valued; Green Belt as a minimum desirable qualification;
Previous experience with robotics systems (AMRs, ASRS, goods-to-person, high-throughput sorters).
