Develop an understanding of the market, competitive landscape, and customer needs through research and field insights to support product strategy and commercialization activities
Support customer adoption and education initiatives through the development of materials, collection of feedback, and coordination of logistics for training programs and events
Support Voice of Customer (VOC) initiatives, including advisory boards, customer education events, technology roadshows, validation studies, conference tech suites, and tech expos, by coordinating schedules, preparing materials, and documenting customer feedback
Support product launch planning and execution by tracking deliverables, consolidating inputs, and identifying opportunities to advance portfolio growth
Support engagement with physician customers and key stakeholders by coordinating communications, maintaining contact lists, and preparing materials that promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic spine procedure products
Provide ongoing support to the sales organization and surgeon customers to address product, training, and procedural needs
Support cadaver labs and hands-on training events through setup and teardown of stations, staging of instruments and implants, and organization of materials to ensure readiness for use
Provide on-site event support, as needed, including support for conference tech expos, tech suites, and demonstration logistics
Perform physical responsibilities associated with lab and event support, including lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs., repeated bending and stooping, and standing for extended periods
Support cross-functional project teams, including R&D, clinical, regulatory, and operations, by consolidating inputs and helping ensure marketing deliverables remain on track
Support technical discussions and product demonstrations with sales and surgeon customers by preparing demonstration materials and coordinating required equipment
Travel up to 25–30%, as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
2–3 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, product management, or a related field; or 1 year of relevant experience with a Master’s degree
Knowledge of the global healthcare and medical device market, including market development principles
Spine clinical experience preferred, particularly within the lumbar segment
Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with technical personnel
Demonstrated success in building relationships with customers and industry partners
Proven ability to work effectively within, lead, and influence cross-functional teams
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
