Serve as primary CONUS and global SME for LAN/WLAN/WAN operations
Lead resolution of complex network issues across all OSI layers
Provide advanced configuration, installation, and troubleshooting support
Guide network design, implementation, and modernization initiatives
Interface with Government, CSPs, GSPs, and external stakeholders
Develop standards, policies, and technical procedures
Perform performance analysis and proactive network optimization
Ensure compliance with DoD/DHA security and architecture requirements
Support firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust implementations
Mentor and lead network engineering staff
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience or 10 years equivalent experience
Possess a mastery level of experience in routed, switched and shared LAN environments that operate such items as current supported versions of Microsoft OS, Windows Active Directory, UNIX and OpenVMS and employ routers, switches, and terminal servers as well as various local and long-haul WAN connectivity. Extensive experience with:
Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
Network tools (SolarWinds, Ansible, ARMIS)
Enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Experience with deployed DoD Systems
Experience with DoD Health Care Information Systems is preferred
