Employee Relations Manager

Role Overview

• Provides employee relations support
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures
• Utilizes knowledge and expertise to investigate, address, and resolve HR issues
• Handles a wide range of employee relations matters
• Identifies root cause issues in employee engagement and provides conflict resolution
• Provides counsel and recommendations in accordance with legislative and regulatory requirements
• Provides guidance regarding performance management plans
• Addresses concerns of a diverse scope and demonstrates good judgment
• Follows service level agreements in timely response
• Provides emergency response and crisis management support to employees

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 3-5 years in direct and consistent Employee Relations positions
• prior experience in HR Generalist in a large organization
• SHRM Certification (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP) is desirable
• strong business acumen
• extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
• ability to handle high volume case load and competing priorities
• unquestionable commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and privacy
• excellent communication skills
• both written and verbal
