You identify relevant target organizations in the public sector and local government environment
You build structured prospecting lists and proactively reach out to potential customers via email, LinkedIn, and phone
In close coordination with our Sales Director, you build a reliable sales pipeline
You conduct qualified initial conversations and discovery calls, analyze customer needs, and qualify opportunities in a structured way for the next steps in the sales process
You use modern research methods, buying signals, and AI-powered personalization to efficiently identify target customers and conduct qualified conversations
You develop audience-specific outreach sequences and continuously optimize messaging, targeting, and approach based on campaign and performance data
You maintain and organize HubSpot carefully, document sales activities transparently, and support data-driven management of outreach, forecasting, and deal progress
You help set up initial Clay workflows and connect HubSpot, Clay, and other outreach and GTM tools into efficient prospecting and outreach processes
You test new campaigns, analyze results, and continuously improve processes, sequences, and workflows to sustainably increase efficiency and conversion rates.
Requirements
2 to 5 years of experience in business development, SDR roles, or B2G sales
Confidence with a modern GTM stack: you have worked with modern sales and GTM tools, notably HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and outreach tools like Lemlist, Apollo, or comparable platforms
Clear, precise, and audience-appropriate communication skills, both written and verbal
Structure, ownership & willingness to learn: you work in a structured, independent way and take high responsibility
Technology & AI affinity: you are interested in modern GTM and prospecting processes and understand the value of AI-supported research, personalization, and data-driven outbound
Initial experience with Clay or similar tools, and experience in SaaS, startup, or public sector environments are a plus.
