Contribute to the development of functional safety concepts and technical safety concepts
Contribute in capturing the requirements in requirements management tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure correct implementation of safety concepts
Perform FTA, DFA and FMEDA
Contribute in the reviews of safety verification and validation plans
Assist in audits, assessments, and internal safety reviews
Supporting and enabling customers for various safety products at NXP including but not limited to providing customized solutions using NXP products

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent
6-8 years of hands-on experience in functional safety related design and development for Tier 1 or Tier 2 Automotive Suppliers
Strong concepts in Micro-controller and Micro-processor use-cases, applications and architecture for Automotive
Good understanding of ISO26262 or IEC61508 based development lifecycle and safety work products
Strong motivation to support customers
Strong understanding of IP and SoC level Safety mechanisms
Hands on experience to Safety analysis tools like Medni for FTA, DFA and FMEDA
