Role Overview
- Support QVC by identifying staffing schedules for all distribution functions based on the 21 day plan
- Work with site management and corporate analysis group on developing operations staff schedules
- Identify base, seasonal, flex, and overtime needs for all direct and indirect positions
- Conduct employee schedule preference bids
- Develop computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production
- Communicate varying assumptions and deviations to the staff plan/forecast
- Lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists in managing timecard reconciliation, site scheduling, and administrative duties
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Analytical experience required with 1+ years scheduling experience
- Operational experience associated with the site activity to include an understanding of workflow processing with 1-year experience
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Background in staff planning and forecast development
