We are looking for an experienced Solution Consultant to support our ERP implementation projects from a functional and process-oriented financial perspective.
You will act as the link between accounting/finance business units and the technical ERP teams, ensuring that financial processes are properly designed, implemented, and optimized.
The role specifically includes business consulting to define target business processes and map them in the system.
You will play a key role in translating FI/CO requirements into ERP configurations and advising customers on a smooth transition to new systems.
Responsibilities include: leading the accounting workstreams in ERP implementation projects; analyzing and redesigning financial processes; implementing accounting requirements in ERP system configurations; supporting chart of accounts design and financial data migration; defining reporting structures and compliance requirements; conducting workshops with clients' finance teams; supporting testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities; ensuring compliance with local GAAP/IFRS requirements; and identifying process improvements and automation opportunities.

University degree in business administration or a related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or German tax advisor/Steuerberater) is highly desirable.
Experience as a consultant for German and/or European companies.
Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB/GoBD), IFRS, and EU financial regulations.
Solid understanding of financial reporting and financial close processes.
Practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, etc.).
Experience in ERP implementation projects is a major plus.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Fluent German.
