Role Overview
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Lead project planning and scheduling activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance against baseline schedules, budgets, and key milestones.
- Produce accurate forecasting, earned value analysis, and performance reporting.
- Identify schedule risks, delays, and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate project governance, reporting, and stakeholder review meetings.
- Establish and improve project control processes, standards, and methodologies.
- Support programme and portfolio-level reporting and performance management.
- Provide risk and issue management oversight.
- Mentor and support junior Project Controllers and PMO professionals.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Project Controls, PMO, Project Planning, or Programme Controls environments.
- Strong expertise in schedule management and project performance reporting.
- Experience working on large, complex projects or programmes.
- Advanced knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Experience presenting project performance information to senior management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced consulting and client-facing environment.
Desirable Experience
- Aerospace, Defence, Engineering, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Energy, or Technology sector experience.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) expertise.
- Risk management and quantitative analysis experience.
- PMO leadership experience.
- Professional certifications such as APM, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
