Part-time Accounting Specialist – Financial Accounting, Payroll

Role Overview

• Ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounts)
• Review, coding and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices
• Bank and cash postings as well as account reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparation of documents for the tax advisor
• Travel expense and expense claim processing
• Maintenance and further development of internal accounting processes
• Optional
• Payroll: preparation and execution of the monthly payroll
• Maintenance of employee master data
• Communication with health insurance providers, authorities and the tax advisor
• Support with payroll-related personnel questions

Requirements

• Completed commercial/vocational training, further training in accounting or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in financial accounting
• Confident use of DATEV (FiBu, Mittelstand Faktura)
• Structured, independent and reliable working style
• Discretion and a strong sense of responsibility when handling sensitive data
• Good German language skills, spoken and written
• Nice to have: experience in payroll accounting
• Experience with digital, paperless accounting processes
• Experience in startups, SMEs or fast-growing companies
