Responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome for several small to medium BESS, substation, wind, DG projects or one very large utility scale solar project.
Lead and manage a team of project managers and assistant project managers to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Proactively manage and maintain relationships with current customers.
Comprehensive knowledge and management of all scopes required for renewable EPC construction: civil, fence, environmental, SWPPP, SPCC, mechanical, structural, substation, medium voltage collections, DC collections, BESS, SCADA, etc.
Engage and maintain positive relationships with local, state, and federal AHJ’s to obtain permits and ensure compliance with all codes and permit requirements.
Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with clients to understand their goals, objectives, and project requirements.
Manage relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of EPC projects within defined scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
Implement robust QA/QC processes to ensure that project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, taking proactive measures to address variances and ensure profitability.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration or a related field.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in project management or a related role, preferably within the EPC industry.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Office Suite).
Business development/heavy client interaction a plus
Proven experience mentoring and managing others
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
