About this role
Role Overview
You are responsible for project management of new-build projects with a focus on technical building services and supply engineering.
You independently handle technical building services and supply engineering projects on an engineering basis and implement them professionally.
You prepare project schedules, review their structure, and consistently monitor compliance with all defined milestones.
You prepare status reports on project progress and verify the substantive accuracy of the available evaluations.
You develop permit-related planning documentation, technical concepts, detailed shop drawings and pre-review documents on an engineering basis.
You carefully review planning documents, building applications, approval documents, specifications and tender documents for completeness and technical quality.
You support site supervision during the commissioning phase and assist with the technical acceptance of systems.
You coordinate technical content and procedures with planners, assessors, experts and executing contractors.
You collaborate with other specialist staff involved in planning across different trades.
You review change order proposals and project cost reports and assess them from technical and economic perspectives.
You actively participate in handovers and factory acceptance tests and document the respective results.
You take part in work consultations, schedule coordination meetings, project meetings and technical coordination discussions.
Requirements
You hold a degree in building services engineering, building systems engineering or energy engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or have completed vocational training as a technical system planner for building services or as an installation mechanic for sanitary, heating and air-conditioning systems.
You have several years of practical professional experience in technical building services or supply engineering.
You bring several years of experience in project management and in planning technical projects.
You have a secure command of the relevant technical standards and apply them in a compliant manner.
You present yourself confidently and communicate clearly, in a structured and audience-appropriate way with all project stakeholders.
You use common Office applications routinely to prepare analyses, reports and project documentation.
Ideally, you have user-level knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD and apply it to support planning.
