Role Overview
- Lead the adoption and evolution of AI tooling across the Payments team
- Embed agentic workflows across planning, development, and production monitoring
- Evaluate and maintain the team's AI development stack
- Continuously test and adopt new tools for team optimization
- Redesign workflows around agent-assisted sprints
- Ensure compliance and governance in agent-generated code
- Document team AI tooling and workflows
- Contribute directly by building internal tooling and automations
- Define and track meaningful metrics for AI-assisted delivery
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience in web/backend systems
- Deep, current, practical experience with agentic AI development tools
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement developer experience improvements
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices
- Comfortable working across the stack
- Experience working with MCP servers and agent frameworks
- A teaching mindset
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
- Experience working in or alongside a regulated environment
