Role Overview
- Review hazardous materials shipments for proper classification, documentation, labeling, and placarding
- Monitor driver qualifications and support compliance with Hazardous Materials Regulations
- Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Driver teams
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2 to 5 years of experience in transportation safety, hazardous materials compliance, logistics, or a related field preferred
- Experience with Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR) preferred
- Strong attention to detail in reviewing regulatory documentation
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials transportation regulations and compliance requirements
