About this role
Role Overview
Build and develop strong, trust-based relationships with financial advisers across the Midlands and South
Take a consultative approach to understand adviser businesses, their investment processes and client needs
Support advisers in developing or enhancing their investment propositions using Omni Invest resources
Deliver face-to-face meetings, events and presentations to engage and educate adviser firms
Gather market feedback and insights to inform the ongoing development of the Omni Invest proposition
Collaborate with the wider Omni Invest team (research, governance and distribution) to deliver a joined-up service
Manage outreach across multiple channels (phone, email, LinkedIn and in-person engagement)
Act as a credible, knowledgeable partner on investment governance and proposition design
Requirements
Solid understanding of investments and how adviser propositions are constructed
Experience in financial services, ideally within distribution, account management, business development or an advice environment
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to take a consultative, client-centric approach
Confidence engaging advisers both remotely and face-to-face
Ability to think on your feet and respond to varied adviser needs
Willingness to travel regularly and spend significant time meeting firms in person
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and credibly
Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-evolving environment
Experience working with financial advisers, networks or platforms (Desirable)
Exposure to investment governance, research or centralised investment propositions (CIPs) (Desirable)
Background in a telephone-based account management role with a desire to move into a more field-based position (Desirable)
Experience within an advice firm, platform, asset manager or consultancy environment (Desirable)
Understanding of how investment committees operate (Desirable)
Knowledge of the wider retail investment market and product landscape (Desirable)
Benefits
Location: This is a field based role covering from the Midlands down to the South Coast. Candidates will only be considered who live in this geographical area otherwise travel times are too great.
