You take technical ownership of solutions in Jira and Jira Service Management.
You design robust automations, develop integrations, and bring existing customer setups into a stable, governable structure.
You work closely with consulting and customer stakeholders and deliver results that work in production.
Development and operation of ScriptRunner solutions in Jira and Jira Service Management.
Implementation of typical use cases such as listeners, workflow post functions, validators, conditions, behaviours, scheduled jobs and bulk automations.
Development of modular Groovy structures with clear conventions, reusability, error handling and logging.
Analysis of technical requirements, creation of solution designs, effort estimates and technical risk management.
Troubleshooting complex error scenarios including performance optimization and stabilization of legacy scripts.
Integration of external systems via REST APIs, webhooks and authentication concepts including data mapping and JSON processing.
Establishment of best practices, code reviews and enablement for colleagues and customer teams.
Support on topics such as governance, app evaluation, Data Center to Cloud migration and operational handovers.
Requirements
Strong experience with ScriptRunner in the Jira environment, ideally also with Jira Service Management.
Very good Groovy skills, including clean code structure and debugging.
Experience with integrations via REST APIs and confident handling of JSON.
Structured way of working and the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly.
Very good German and English language skills.
