Role Overview
- Ensure compliance with international, national, and local EHS regulations and company standards
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Lead investigations into EHS incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees and contractors
- Plan and conduct internal EHS audits and inspections
- Support initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and emissions control
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of EHS performance metrics
Requirements
- Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
- In-depth understanding of global EHS regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, REACH, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights
- Experience managing EHS projects and initiatives across multiple sites or regions
- Strong presentation and training skills; ability to communicate complex information clearly
- Skilled in root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions
- Proficiency in EHS management systems and data reporting tools
