Support and deputise for the Distribution Manager
Ensure the smooth running of the transport operation
Lead, develop, and manage a team of shift managers, team leaders, and clerks
Ensure full compliance with transport legislation
Work closely with planning, compliance, and warehouse teams to optimise fleet and driver utilisation
Drive continuous improvement proactively managing absence, performance, driver debriefs, and resolving driver and customer queries

Previous experience within a 3PL transport environment
Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced operation
Strong understanding of transport compliance including WTD, digital tachographs, and operator licence requirements
Highly organised, proactive, and resilient
Experience developing people with a structured and detail-focused approach
International CPC qualification desirable
