About this role
Role Overview
Design and assess industry-leading 100+ gigabit/s. electrical and optical links and memory interface channels
Create simulation models, plan and execute simulation suites
Correlate models to measured laboratory results
Create PCB signal integrity design rules, stackup, and connector pinout recommendations
Track and drive the resolution of electrical issues, execute hands-on testing and debugging to root cause
Create documentation, test plans, and test reports
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
10+ years' experience in High Performance Electrical Design
Experience with Ethernet or Infiniband components and systems, and key performance metrics
Experience with Signal Integrity
Experience RF and Microwave design is preferred, but not required
Experience with 3D Modeling with tools such as HFSS is highly preferred
Experience using electrical design tools and software packages such as Ansoft, HFSS, Allegro
Knowledge of signal integrity design concepts
Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience in at least one common scripting language is a plus (e.g. perl, bash, Python)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
