The Property Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for Storage and Circle of Boating segments.
Additionally, this individual coordinates with and supports Operations in identifying value-add capital projects.
The Property Business Development Manager is assigned a portfolio of marinas and partners with Operations, Construction, and Financial Planning and Analysis to organically grow same store sales.
He or she is responsible for managing the rates and inventory of each asset, developing and implementing revenue management processes, and executing and tracking value add opportunities for the assigned portfolio.
This individual assists Operations with the creation of operating and capital business plans, and works collaboratively with both Home Office departments (Marketing, Accounting, Construction, and Acquisitions) and marina team members (General Managers, Marina Administrative Managers, Circle of Boating Managers, and Service Managers).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, data analytics, economics or 4-6 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, to include experience in Business Objects, SQL, Power BI, Tableau and Contour
Must have intermediate experience with Microsoft Office products to include Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must have a high level of emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to relate to others
Must have general experience with data mining to include the ability to merge, concatenate, and clean data and check for data consistency and accuracy
Must have outstanding written, verbal, analytical, and presentation skills while being able to effectively distill and communicate actionable insights at various levels of the organization
Must have strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Must be proficient in financial, statistical, and competitive analysis
Must have experience or interest in working with and using large scale data to solve valuable business problems
Must have the ability to maintain and practice confidentiality.
