Oversees and coordinates all research activities within the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
Responsible for managing the department’s research portfolio
Supporting faculty investigators and ensuring regulatory, compliance, and reporting requirements are met
Serves as a scientific and operational leader for clinical, translational, and outcomes research
Includes project development, data management, biostatistical analysis, grant and manuscript support, and expansion of clinical trials within the department
Works closely with faculty, research fellows, residents, medical students, and a research coordinator to promote a productive and collaborative research environment
Maintains efficient workflows and supports the department’s publication and academic output
Requirements
Doctorate (PhD) in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Services Research, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences, or a closely related field
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in research coordination, academic research management, or clinical research
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred; experience in Otolaryngology/ENT is a plus
Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC), Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), or related certification in clinical research or research administration, or the ability to obtain certification within one (1) year of hire
