Support the design, development, integration, and sustainment of enterprise software systems in a federal environment.
Deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications that support mission-critical operations.
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level software applications and system components.
Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Implement secure coding practices and integrate system security controls in coordination with cybersecurity personnel.
Support system integration and interoperability across multiple platforms and environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to software and system performance.
Develop technical documentation, including system designs, user documentation, and configuration artifacts.
Collaborate with system administrators, cybersecurity analysts, and stakeholders to ensure secure and efficient system operations.
Support compliance with federal security requirements, including RMF-related processes.
Apply modern development practices (e.g., Agile, DevSecOps) to improve delivery efficiency and system quality.
Requirements
5 to 9 years of experience in software engineering, cybersecurity, or related technical field
Experience developing and maintaining applications in secure, enterprise environments
Experience integrating security practices into software development processes
Demonstrated experience working in structured, regulated environments
Candidates must possess certification(s) in one or more of the following areas: IAT Level II (Information Assurance Technical): GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, or CCNA-Security
IAM Level II (Information Assurance Management): CAP, GSLC, CISM, CASP-CE, or CISSP (or Associate of CISSP)
Cyber Defense (preferred but highly valued): CEH, GCIA, CSIH, or GCIH
Operating System / Computing Environment Certification: Applicable OS/CE certification for systems requiring privileged access.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; OR Certification aligned with CNSSI 4012, 4013, 4014, 4015, or 4016; OR Associate degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
U.S. Citizenship Required due to federal contract. No visa sponsorship (OPT/CPT included).
