Senior Accountant

Role Overview

• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the organization's financial records and reports in compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable, payroll, and the month-end close process for the U.S. entity
• Support global financial reporting and interact closely with Global Finance, HR, and Operations teams
• Oversee the end-to-end employee cash advance and expense reimbursement cycle
• Execute semi-monthly U.S. payroll and ensure compliance with all state payroll taxes
• Support the preparation and review of journal entries, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet account analysis
• Assist in the annual and mid-year budgeting process

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in month-end close and payroll management
• Proficiency in SAGE Intacct and Google sheets preferred
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles
• CPA or CMA candidate preferred
• Global experience supporting international field offices or working across multiple time zones and cultures
