Analyze claims in surety and credit insurance files.
Develop and implement strategies to minimize losses while ensuring Intact's obligations are met.
Ensure recovery of amounts paid by Intact.
Coordinate management of complex litigation files as well as the technical and financial aspects of claims.
Manage all aspects of claims files, including administrative duties, and effectively assign specific tasks to team members (lawyers, engineers, accountant).
Timely and effectively record and communicate all actions taken in a file to support decision-making.
Report regularly to the management team.
Work closely with the underwriting team.
Perform other related duties as required.

Postsecondary degree in law, engineering, business administration, finance or accounting
Five or more years of relevant work experience
Professionalism, flexibility and excellent customer service skills
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Solid negotiation and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work effectively as part of a team, including with key internal partners (underwriter, lawyer, accountant, engineer, etc.)
Experience in surety claims or credit insurance claims is an asset
Bilingualism required (French/English).
