Role Overview
Conducting literature reviews and policy research on economic dignity topics including AI and labor markets, care work, workforce transitions, and tax policy
Gathering and synthesizing data from government sources, academic publications, and policy organizations
Assisting with the preparation of policy papers, briefs, and presentation materials
Supporting the development of the Economic Dignity curriculum for the McCourt School
Coordinating logistics for public forums and events featuring diverse commentators
Fact-checking and cite-checking draft publications
Tracking relevant legislation and policy developments at federal and state levels
Supporting external communications for the Lab
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
Strong research and analytical skills with experience conducting policy analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with data analysis tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments with competing deadlines
Commitment to 10-15 hours per week with an expected total of 60 hours per month
Experience with quantitative research methods or data visualization (preferred)
Familiarity with federal and state legislative processes (preferred)
Previous research assistant experience in an academic or policy setting (preferred).
