Utilize open-source intelligence and a variety of collection tools to identify, assess, and monitor planned events and emerging risks across the Americas region. Support efforts across other regions as needed.
Monitor and assess planned demonstrations, protests, labor strikes, and other activism-related activity and upcoming events to identify potential impacts to business operations, employee safety, travel, and business continuity.
Serve as the primary intelligence resource for an Americas-focused area of responsibility, maintaining awareness of elections, political developments, civil unrest, labor activity, security incidents, and emerging regional trends.
Research, analyze, and assess complex events and developments, transforming information from multiple sources into timely intelligence alerts, assessments, and other intelligence products that provide relevant context, potential impacts, and actionable insights.
Contribute to recurring intelligence reporting, including weekly intelligence briefs, situation reports, and other strategic intelligence deliverables.
Evaluate information from a variety of sources, validate reporting, and ensure intelligence products meet the highest standards of accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
Collaborate with colleagues across the Global Intelligence Team to refine collection methodologies, enhance analytical processes, and continuously improve intelligence coverage and reporting.
Requirements
3-5 years of professional experience in intelligence analysis, strategic intelligence, geopolitical risk, security operations, international relations, risk analysis, or a related field requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate evolving situations, identify relevant information, establish priorities, and communicate accurate intelligence under time constraints.
Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to transform complex information into clear, concise, and actionable intelligence products for diverse audiences.
Strong research and synthesis skills, including the ability to quickly evaluate multiple sources, develop subject-matter familiarity, and produce organized, objective analysis.
Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, including the ability to validate information and assess source credibility.
Familiarity with open-source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies, social media monitoring, and intelligence collection tools.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain situational awareness across a broad geographic portfolio with minimal supervision.
A willing partner in giving and receiving feedback on product, process, and performance.
Professional Spanish reading proficiency is preferred; Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
Experience monitoring or analyzing risk in the Americas is preferred.
