Serve as the primary liaison for rightshoring strategy, engaging with PICs, Partners, and Engagement Managers across all offices to build trust and alignment
Serve as the cultural bridge between the tax team in the US and in India
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Tax leadership across all US offices and teams to identify opportunities for rightshoring adoption
Act as a champion for rightshoring, presenting its value proposition and benefits to internal stakeholders
Collaborate with India tax leadership to design and implement tailored rightshoring solutions that meet the needs of US offices
Partner closely with the Tax Resource Management Director and the Resource Managers supporting the India practice to ensure consistent deployment processes, forecasting methodologies, and scheduling practices across the organization
Work with Tax Resource Management leadership to promote adherence to established deployment procedures, workforce planning standards, and resource management best practices
Serve as a key liaison between Tax Rightshoring and Tax Resource Management, driving alignment, operational consistency, and scalability of the firm's global delivery model
Monitor forecasting, scheduling, and deployment activities across India teams to help ensure work is planned and executed effectively in support of Tax business objectives
Ensure budgeted hours are delivered to India as planned and partner with U.S. offices and Resource Management teams to proactively address changes in timing, scope, or staffing requirements
Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to leadership on rightshoring effectiveness and ROI
Represent the firm at internal meetings and events to promote awareness and understanding of rightshoring
Travel extensively to firm offices across geographies to maintain visibility, strengthen relationships, and ensure success
Be a resource to the Tax Partner in Charge of Rightshoring and other Tax leaders for short term and long-term Tax Rightshoring initiatives
Mentor India Tax leaders and help them bridge cultural gaps to help them connect with Partners and leaders in the US
Build relationships with other Tax Rightshoring leaders of other firms in the US to stay abreast of market trends as they relate to Rightshoring
Help India leadership team ideate and implement Rightshoring best practices
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent field is required
Significant experience in Tax, Operations, Resource Management or Professional Services with demonstrated success in strategic initiatives
Proven ability to build relationships and influence senior leadership and drive desired results through leveraging relationships
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Strong business development mindset with consultative approach
Ability to lead change and foster collaboration across diverse teams
Willingness to travel extensively
