Specialized Export Advisor, Retail Sector, Latin American and Canadian Markets

Role Overview

• Support and advise export-ready companies
• Share strategic information
• Draft service agreements and reports
• Organize business-matching and networking meetings with clients and partners
• Keep abreast of strategic information
• Contribute to the drafting of sector strategies
• Develop an annual action plan of activities
• Create specific plans to achieve the required results

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree: International Management, Business Administration, Economics, or another relevant field
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (an asset)
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience
• Knowledge of issues related to interprovincial and international trade
• Knowledge of Quebec’s industrial sectors as well as Quebec’s economy and its main strengths
• Good understanding of the political and economic environment of the rest of Canada and Latin America
• Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written)
• Spanish proficiency is an asset
• Available and hold a valid driver’s license for travel to other provinces, regions of Quebec, and Latin America
