About this role
Role Overview
As a Support Specialist — Financial Management & Accounting, you act as both a subject-matter and platform expert.
You are the primary point of contact for our customer base who have chosen Pennylane as the central software for their accounting and financial management.
You engage daily with users and aim to understand the issues they are experiencing.
After investigating, your goal is to provide an answer or solution to the user, or when necessary, escalate the issue to the technical teams.
You are also responsible for helping company and firm accountants import their data into Pennylane to facilitate migration.
First 3 months: You join the Pennylane Academy and train on the product and the team’s processes.
Months 4 to 6: You begin handling increasingly complex customer requests.
You will become a product expert and support your team’s skills development.
Requirements
Accounting education (BTS CGO, DCG, BTS Assistant de gestion PME-PMI, Master CCA, or Bachelor in Administrative and Accounting Management).
At least 3 years’ experience in an accounting firm (ideally having completed at least three fiscal periods).
Experience working directly with company leaders is a plus (for example internal advisory).
Interest in innovative work tools and new technologies.
Autonomy and the ability to solve problems independently and find solutions.
Knowledge of the Pennylane platform is a plus.
Professional level of English.
Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain concepts clearly and professionally to users.
Ability to understand and respond to client needs, deliver excellent service, and maintain strong client relationships.
Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to adapt to the rapid evolution of the product.
Willingness to learn and stay up to date with product developments.
