Oversee the design of new programs, ensuring learning experiences are practical, scalable, and industry-relevant
Ensure curricula and assessments embody our learning design principles and align with the desired competencies
Collaborate with industry subject matter experts and institutions to co-create cutting-edge program content
Lead and coach Learning Experience Designers, providing feedback and professional development in instructional design, media integration, and data-informed storytelling
Manage design workflows, sprints, and retrospectives to ensure smooth delivery
Oversee staffing allocations, project plans, and delivery calendars
Establish strong review processes for content quality, accessibility, and pedagogical rigour
Ensure alignment with codified learning principles and institutional standards
Incorporate learner, facilitator, and partner feedback into design iterations
Experiment with new tools, technologies, and media formats (including AI) to enhance learner engagement and outcomes
Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the design team
Codify best practices, frameworks, and tools into playbooks and templates that enable consistent, high-quality design across programs
Use learner performance data, completion metrics, and feedback to iteratively improve course design and delivery
Develop dashboards or reporting frameworks in partnership with the data team to track learning effectiveness, engagement, and assessment validity
Advocate for evidence-based decision-making in program and content iterations.
Requirements
Proven track record in instructional design, learning experience design, or curriculum development
Experience leading teams of designers or educators, with strong coaching and mentorship abilities
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale program development projects
Experience working with or integrating AI-powered learning or assessment tools
Beneficial: exposure to creative industries, digital media, or emerging technology fields
Beneficial: Prior experience working in accredited or competency-based education programs is a plus
Expertise in instructional design methods, curriculum frameworks, and learner-centred design
Strong systems thinking and ability to design learning experiences that balance pedagogy, technology, and operations
