About this role

Prospecting for new business and managing a pipeline of commercial accounts
Meeting with business owners and financial decision-makers to understand their exposure and recommend the right coverage
Making presentations to decision-makers to establish and win their business
Writing new business within the company and carrier guidelines
Building long-term client relationships through honest, consultative service
Staying current on DOI regulations and agency compliance requirements
Participating in various incentive programs and contests designated to drive sales and exceed production goals
Other duties assigned

2 years of experience in insurance preferred, but not required
Commercial insurance sales experience preferred
Have or be willing to obtain a Florida Property and Casualty License
Strong relationship building and communication skills
Exceptional negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
Ability to prospect, follow up consistently, and manage a sales pipeline
Comfortable working in person and networking within the local community
Must be located within an hour drive of Miami, FL and able to commute to the office as required
