About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for business development and new business growth for ABB Drives division
Generate new business growth through brand and product acceptance
Close partnership/coordination with Channel Sales, Channel Program and OEM Team peers
Documenting customer stakeholders and buying behaviors
Clearly communicating attack vectors through product positioning and solutions
Leverage knowledge of Chemical Oil and Gas industry trends and customer need to develop compelling value propositions
Leading sub-segment execution strategy and defining go-to-market approaches
Support and advise global Chemical Oil and Gas team with US market insights
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related discipline
8+ years of experience with capital assist sales in the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas upstream (non-artificial lift) industry and industrial equipment applications in upstream (non-artificial lift), battery storage facilities (separators, vapor recovery units, pumps, fans) and processed water transfer & treatment
In-depth knowledge of low voltage Variable Frequency Drives, Motors and related equipment
Demonstrated success in assessing and analyzing customer need and projected requirements
Experience with Salesforce.com
Proven domain expertise in subsegments and applications in the industrial Chemical Oil and Gas industry upstream (non-artificial lift) and downstream segments
Demonstrated success in achieving AVL product specification from customers
